The house-museum of Gara Garayev, the author of the ballets "Seven Beauties", "Path of Thunder", "Leyli and Majnun", is a wonderful place to get acquainted with both the creativity and different periods of the composer's life. While visiting different rooms of the museum, you can get acquainted with books from Gara Garayev's personal library, posters of performances in different cities, personal belongings, copies of manuscripts, sound recordings, sketches for ballets. The museum's collection includes more than 3,000 materials. The composer’s grand piano is one of the things that attracts the most attention and takes one into the world of the genius composer’s music.
Exhibits related to Gara Garayev's hobbies are also displayed in the museum. The composer was an amateur photographer and showed great interest in motorcycles. Here you can see some of his cameras and photos taken by the composer. You can visit the museum daily other than Monday from 10:00 to 18:00.
