And between the competitions, don’t miss the chance to discover autumnal Baku – a city where ancient history meets modern architecture.
Start your journey through Azerbaijan’s capital in the Old City, with its narrow alleyways and iconic landmarks. Then, visit the Heydar Aliyev Center, renowned for its unique and striking architecture. Enjoy panoramic views of the Flame Towers from Highland Park, and take a stroll along the lively Nizami Street or the serene seaside Baku Boulevard along the Caspian Sea. Be sure to try traditional dishes like dolma, shah plov, fresh seafood, and caviar. For art and nature lovers, we recommend checking out the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum and the Gobustan National Historical-Artistic Reserve, home to ancient petroglyphs and mud volcanoes. End your day at Yanardag, the “burning mountain,” and the Ateshgah Fire Temple, where the legacy of fire-worship has endured for centuries.
Stunning views, warm hospitality, and the cultural treasures of Baku will set the perfect stage for an incredible show on ice. Baku is waiting to welcome you with open arms, ready to create lasting memories and leave a warm impression on your heart.
