This 2.3 km route is ideal for nature enthusiasts, offering both beautiful views and a comfortable walking experience. It starts from the left side of the information board near Ashaghi Batabat Lake and runs along the lake’s right bank.
About 300 m in, take a right and cross a small hilly area to reach Yukhari (Upper) Batabat Lake after 1 km. The path then follows the lake’s left shore for 800 m, offering spectacular cliffside views. Continuing 800 m along the upper trail, it intersects with a paved road, marking the end of the Ashaghi Batabat Lake – Zorbulag hiking route.
Although the route concludes at this point, you can extend your journey toward Zorbulag – Bichenek by following the trail markers. The total distance of this route covers 6.9 km.
The first 4.2 km passes through relatively flat terrain, then the trail crosses a paved road and enters a dense forest. Continuing 2.7 km further, the trail leads to Bichenek village, ending roughly 200 m past it.
This route can also be travelled in the opposite direction.
