Ganjasenetarts & crafts fair
Exploring Ganja’s historical and cultural monuments, museums, parks, nature and the amazing cuisine of this region, you’ll be glad you visited this lovely, hospitable city. Ganja is developing dynamically and getting prettier every day while still maintaining its historical appearance.
A walk through the streets of the city – the first capital of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic – will give you a fantastic experience: an amazing journey through time and places where everything breathes history. For centuries, Ganja was a centre of culture, arts and crafts on the Great Silk Road, and the works of its craftspeople are known far beyond its borders.
You can discover this wonderful heritage at the arts and crafts fair Ganjasenet (which means ‘Ganja Crafts’), which is one more place to add to your must-see list in Ganja. Here, you can browse and buy all kinds of handicrafts and other eye-catching examples of local creativity, as well as communicate directly with local artists and craftspeople.
Ganjasenet welcomes visitors on the first Saturday of each month between 11am and 6pm and takes place in the Urban Centre at the Ganja State Philharmonic Hall. Entrance is free.
