enjoy a boat tripon the Baku Boulevard
If you’re visiting Baku, the Seaside Boulevard is one of the must-see places. Founded in 1909, this wide and kilometres-long promenade is the city’s most beloved recreation area which today hosts a variety of cafes, restaurants, museums, malls, and many other attractions and activities. The highlights include Little Venice, a small town built in 1960, the Carpet Museum which is a unique attraction for both locals and visitors to Baku, Deniz Mall to experience unforgettable tastes and new entertainment concepts, and the Baku Eye where you can see the panoramic view of beautiful Baku.
While walking on the Seaside Boulevard, you should also not miss the chance to take a short boat trip on the Caspian Sea. During the day this will give you the opportunity to admire the seafront and gems of Baku's architecture, while in the evening you can enjoy the city’s lights and cool breezes. In addition to the breathtaking views of the city, you can relax with refreshing beverages or traditional tea sets and capture your memories with the help of an on-boat photographer.
Each trip lasts around 30–40 minutes and is carried out by the Mirvari boat, which has a capacity of 450 passengers. Ticket prices are 5 AZN and 10 AZN, and children under 6 years old travel free of charge. The boat departs daily from 14:00 to 21:00 from the pier at the Sea Station. Trips are not operated in windy weather conditions.
