The Little Prince

event details

The play “Sleeping Beauty and the Dwarfs” is a modern and meaningful stage production inspired by classic fairy-tale motifs. At its core lies the triumph of love, kindness, and justice over hatred and darkness.

The story unfolds in an ancient kingdom. After many years of waiting, the king and queen finally welcome a daughter. To celebrate her birth, they invite all the fairies of the kingdom to the palace. However, one fairy — the forgotten sorceress Malifi Senta — is left without an invitation.

Feeling insulted, Malifi Senta considers this a grave disrespect and curses the young princess:
“On her eighteenth birthday, she will prick her finger on a spindle and die.”
But the compassionate fairy Flora softens the curse by proclaiming that the princess will not die but will instead fall into a deep sleep for one hundred years, and only true love will be able to awaken her.

Despite the king’s orders to destroy all spindles in the kingdom to protect his daughter, Malifi Senta’s magic takes effect, and the princess falls into an enchanted sleep.
A hundred years later, a brave prince discovers the hidden forest castle, defeats the dark forces, and breaks the curse through the power of love. The sleeping beauty awakens, and the kingdom is filled with light once again.

Through this fairy-tale performance, young theatre lovers are subtly reminded that the greatest miracle in the human heart is love and compassion.
