One of the highlights of the spring season is the Jazz and Wine Festival. The festival, to be held from April 24 to May 3 at Baku Boulevard, will serve as the festival venue, where it combines music and leisure. Live jazz performances will create a special atmosphere during evening walks by the sea.
This will be followed by the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Cup. Taking place in Baku from April 30 to May 3, the tournament is part of the European Cup series and will unite gymnastics enthusiasts through various formats.
At the same time, on April 30, International Jazz Day will be celebrated. A concert at the Heydar Aliyev Palace will offer jazz lovers an unforgettable evening of music.
In early May, attention is directed to Icherisheher. Taking place on May 2–3, the International Carpet Festival will introduce guests to the traditions of Azerbaijani carpet weaving through exhibitions, masterclasses, and cultural programs.
Among the spring events, the Baku Marathon holds a special place. Held on May 3 under the slogan “Beat the Wind,” the marathon will, for the first time, cover a full 42 km distance, bringing participants together across the city while promoting an active lifestyle.
In mid-May, the city of Shusha will welcome guests with the Kharibulbul Music Festival, held on May 14–15. Featuring mugham, orchestral music, and national dances, the festival presents a vibrant program that beautifully showcases Azerbaijan’s musical heritage.
The spring season will continue on May 31 with the Wish Balloons Festival, which will take place at the Mambo Beach area. Dedicated to International Children’s Day, the event will be remembered for the symbolic release of wish balloons into the sky.
