On October 16, 2025, the Vienna Strauss Philharmonie Orchestra will perform a concert in Baku.

The ensemble will bring a program that includes works by Mozart, Brahms, Haydn, Albinoni, Bach, the brilliant Kálmán, and, of course, the Strauss dynasty.

The orchestra was founded in 2014 by Gerald Grünbacher (Vienna, Austria), the founder of the world-renowned Mozart Orchestra.

The conductor of the orchestra is András Deák, a talented and charismatic maestro with a long and successful career.

27 musicians from around the world — Austria, Hungary, Japan, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Taiwan, Croatia, and Cyprus — have been selected by a special jury for this tour.

The ensemble's mission is to preserve and promote the musical culture of Vienna on a European and international level.

The principal conductor, András László Deák, a distinguished and dynamic maestro, will lead the full two-part performance with incredible energy.

András Deák has performed in many prestigious concert halls with leading orchestras around the world:

• With the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra at Jack Singer Hall (Canada)
• At the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra
• At the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
• In Chicago with the orchestra of the famous Lyric Opera of Chicago

In 2006, András László Deák was invited to the Vienna Musikverein as conductor of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra and has since become a regular guest conductor of this renowned ensemble.
