Candlelight Baku is Azerbaijan's first Candlelight Concerts project.

From London to Paris, from New York to Istanbul — the candlelight concerts that have captivated millions of people in historic venues around the world have now arrived in Baku. 🌎

On July 11 at 8:45 PM and August 8 at 7:00 PM, a special outdoor Candlelight concert dedicated to the legendary composers of film music and contemporary classical music — Hans Zimmer, Ludovico Einaudi, and Joe Hisaishi — will take place at the Summer Hall of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic.

Hans Zimmer — Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar... The most iconic composer in cinematic history. Everything you felt on the screen can now be experienced beneath the glow of thousands of candles.

Ludovico Einaudi — simple, profound, unforgettable. The most beloved voice of Italian minimalism, whose every note takes listeners deep into their emotions.

Joe Hisaishi — the soul of Studio Ghibli. The composer who shaped the childhood memories of an entire generation, from My Neighbor Totoro to Spirited Away.

Note 1. Candlelight Ensemble is a distinguished musical ensemble specially formed by Candlelight Baku, Baku's first local Candlelight concert project. The ensemble features piano, percussion, and an expanded string section (violin, viola, cello, and double bass). It brings together laureates of international and national competitions, as well as Honored Artists, representing the highest level of musical excellence. With its refined sound and exceptional stage presence, the ensemble transforms every performance into an unforgettable musical experience illuminated by thousands of candles.
