Candlelight Baku is Azerbaijan’s first Candlelight Concerts project.

From London to Paris, from New York to Istanbul — the candlelight concerts that have captivated millions of people in historic venues around the world have now arrived in Baku. 🌍

On July 11 and August 1, OUTDOORS — a special retro evening dedicated to the golden era of Azerbaijani music will take place at the Summer Hall of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic. Performed by Retro Band, and surrounded by the elegant atmosphere of thousands of candles, this evening promises you an unforgettable musical experience.

The program features beloved works from Azerbaijani pop music and vocal tradition, performed in a retro style with fresh and emotional interpretations. Familiar melodies will take you on a musical journey filled with nostalgia.

Retro Band is an ensemble specially formed by Candlelight Baku, consisting of a group of vocalists and instrumentalists. The ensemble features piano, tar, kamancha, and percussion. With extensive stage experience and a dynamic live performance style, the group brings the retro repertoire to life in the contemporary Candlelight atmosphere.
