Day 1: Baku Evening Tour

Highland Park, well known as ‘’Viewing Square’’ and Panoramic view of Baku Bay from the highest point of the city, Funicular that connects a square on Neftchilar Avenue with Highland Park and Martyrs' Lane, Baku Boulevard (Seaside Park) and Flame Towers.

Baku Boulevard, also known as the seaside national park, is the favorite promenade of many Baku residents and visitors. Its establishment goes back to more than 100 years, to a time when Baku's oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore, and the seafront was gradually built up.
It is a great place for morning runnings, cycling, picnic, feeling sea breath briefly for relaxation.
The seaside Boulevard is the place of the Flag Arena! There is the biggest flag in the world, and yes, it's our national flag! There you can walk, eat in restaurants, go to the Puppet Theatre, Park Bulvar mall, drink tea while sitting outside of the cafe, move by the Ferris wheel, take a ride on a boat in the Little Venice. We will also make a sea trip by the ship (30 minutes). So, Baku Seaside Boulevard is the place, that you'll remember for a long - long time!

Stop At: Fountain Square, Baku Azerbaijan
Fountains Square is a public square in downtown Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The square was previously called Parapet and is often referenced to by the same name now. The name of the fountains square derives from the presence of dozens of fountains throughout the square first constructed during the Soviet rule of Azerbaijan.
The square is a public gathering place, especially after business hours and during the weekend. It is an attractive tourist destination with many boutiques, restaurants, shops, hotels, and passages. This is one of the most crowded and lively places in the city. The area is great for people-watching, and the evening will find many locals strolling about. It starts from the Istiglaliyyat Street and walls of the Icheri Sheher and stretches through Nizami Street, also called in popular culture as the Torgovaya street running parallel to Baku Boulevard. The fountain square is a location where the city authorities hold many public festivals, shows, and celebrations.

Whatever your shopping heart desires, you are bound to find it on Nizami Street. This is one of the most famous shopping streets in Baku, a hip and bustling pedestrianized avenue with a rich variety of shops, including small outlets, souvenir stores and supermarkets. The main shopping area begins at Fountain Square, and it is a hotspot for clothes, especially in the high-end shops. This part of the city is also notable for its expensive and stylish restaurants and hotels.
While shopping is undoubtedly the principal activity on Nizami Street, the architecture is also a huge draw. Many European embassies have taken up residence here, and the buildings feature a number of different architectural styles, including Baroque, Renaissance and Neo-Gothic. Nizami Street fascinates and excites by day, but do make a point of coming back to the area for a nighttime stroll. The area is brilliantly illuminated by lights and decorations.

Day 2: Gobustan/Mud Volcano and Absheron Peninsula tour

Baku started from the Old City, as it is obvious from the name. Both the locals and tourists love this city in the city - here are the main historical attractions of Baku. Serenity and eternity peace among the ancient walls attract everyone. Old City is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

he palace was the former residence of the rulers of the Shirvanshahs. It is a complex where, in addition to the palace itself, can also be found a courtyard of the Diwankhana, the courthouse, the Shirvanshahs’ burial vault, the palace mosque of 1441 with its minaret, the bathhouse and the mausoleum of the court scholar, Sayid Yahya Bakuvi. The palace complex was built in the period from the XIII to the XVI century. On the palace itself, no inscriptions have survived. Therefore, the time of its construction is determined by the dates on the inscriptions on various architectural monuments, which relate to the palace complex. In 1964, the palace complex was declared a museum-preserve. In 2000, a unique architectural and cultural ensemble, along with the fortified walls enclosed by the historic part of the city and the Maiden Tower, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Shirvanshahs Palace is considered one of the pearls of the architecture of Azerbaijan.

Maiden Tower is a symbol of Baku. This is a unique 8-floor structure with majestic 4-5 meter thick walls built on a rocky promontory overlooking the Caspian Sea. Maiden Tower has been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List. There is an amazing view of the city and the Caspian Sea from the top of the Tower.

Stop At: Mud Volcanoes, Gobustan National Park, Baku Azerbaijan
Mud Volcano - Azerbaijan or as it is called here the Land of Fire has the highest number of mud volcanoes in the world. Some 350 out of over 1,000 mud volcanoes in the world are located here. Mood Volcanos are very effective for health and you can take a bath there.

Gobustan State Historical-Artistic Reserve - Gobustan National Park officially Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape is a hill and mountain site occupying the southeast end of the Greater Caucasus mountain ridge. It is located west of the settlement of Gobustan, about 40 miles (64 km) southwest of Baku city center on the west bank of the Caspian Sea.

Zoroastrian Ateshgah Temple - located on the Absheron Peninsula on the outskirts of Surakhani village, 30 km from the center of Baku, was a shrine at different times for Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Sikhs.
