Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Gobustan Rock Art, Gobustan Settlement - Garadagh District 60 km South of Baku, Qobustan 1080 Azerbaijan
The tour will start off from Gobustan Museum, where you will see ancient human bones, work tools used back to thousand years ago during the Mesolithic period. Later, we will proceed to the rocky area, where you will see ancient petroglyphs (stone carvings). Gobustan geographical region is situated in the west-south of Baku.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Mud Volcanoes, Dasgil Hill, Qobustan 3700 Azerbaijan
Later on, the tour will proceed to the mud volcanoes area which is 20 mins away from Gobustan National Museum. Azerbaijan keeps the first place in the world for the number of mud volcanoes. About 300 mud volcanoes are to be found in Azerbaijan – at the shore, in the sea and on islands. During this trip you will get a great chance to see these rare and active volcanoes from very close distance.

Stop At: Ateshgah - Fire Temple, Сураханский район, Baku Azerbaijan
We will have a lunch break at a local restaurant before proceeding to our next destination. After the lunch break, we will start heading to the ancient Zoroastrian temple "Ateshgah" which is considered as an authentic Azerbaijani exotic site to visit. It is located approximately 30 km from the center of Baku in the suburb of Surakhany. You will learn a lot about the temple from your guide, particularly, more about the history of creation of such a temple in Baku and unique natural phenomenon of burning natural gas outlets.

Stop At: Yanar Dag, Binagadi-Balakhany Highway Absheron Peninsula - Village of Mammadli, Baku 0125 Azerbaijan
After visiting the temple you will go directly to "Yanar Dag" ("Burning Mountain"), located not too far from Ateshgah Temple. It is the most famous and popular tourist site of the “eternal flame” in Azerbaijan. Actually, it is rather a hill than a mountain, with natural gas burning on its slope from ancient times.
