Azerbaijani President opens Qafqaz Karvansaray hotel in Gabala
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended the opening of Qafqaz Karvansaray hotel in Gabala. APA reports that the Head of State cut thered ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the hotel.
The President was told that the hotel was built in 5 ha area. The construction works began in May, 2012 and were completed in August this year. All necessary conditions were created at the hotel for guests. 4-storey complex was constructed in line with modern standards. There is 44-car garage, laundry, swimming-pool and other auxiliary rooms at the basement of the hotel. Karvansaray hotel complex contains 159 rooms, including 139 luxury rooms, 12 family rooms, 6 presidential suits and 2 rooms for disabled people.
Having closely familiarized himself with the hotel, President Ilham Aliyev wished success to the hotel staff.

The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) is pleased to announce that 150 youth from around the world were selected to participate in the Youth Event at the 7th UNAOC Global Forum in Baku, Azerbaijan.
This year marks the “Year of Multiculturalism” in Azerbaijan, a transcontinental country in the Caucasus region located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, The Korea Herald, Korea's leading English-language newspaper said.

The Azerbaijan Republic eases visa requirements in all its international airports starting from 1st February 2016 for the citizens of Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Japan, China, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore in connection with the execution of directives assigned by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Cabinet of Ministers in the meeting dedicated to the results of social and economic development during the first half of 2015 and the execution of set targets, as well as with a purpose of extending interpersonal relationship and promoting tourist visits and business connections.
Azerbaijan`s National Commission for Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), which was set up under President Ilham Aliyev`s Order, has held its first meeting.
