Historical and architectural sights
In thevillageofAnigin Gusar area there are ruins of a fortress that was built to protect against the Arab invasions. The fortress is located at an altitude of 1,100 m above sea level, on the right bank of Gusarchay River. Today, only two pieces are left from the once magnificently fortified fortress: 15-16 meter long wall and a corner tower of the fortress gates. It is assumed that the fortress had existed since the 9th century and was destroyed in 1288.
