Historical and architectural sights
This beautiful German Lutheran Church remained virtually intact in Shamkir. The church was built by the Germans settlers in 1909. The church building is designed in the Gothic Revival style. The church operated for its intended purpose until 1941. In 2012-13 the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan initiated the reconstruction of the church.

In this park you can see the most famous sights of Azerbaijan, through their scrupulously recreated mini-replications. The park, which was opened in 2013, resembles the shape ofAzerbaijan, and a fountain pool serves as theCaspian Sea.
