In theBasgalVillage, there is "KalagaiSilkCenter" where all the kalagai traditions have been completely restored. Thus, the most valuable kalagais, which contain 6 or 7 colors, are still produced in Basgal. The Center has a unique interactive "Kalagai" museum. Visitors can not only learn about the history and traditions of kalagai, but to watch live the process of making kalagai and even participate in it.

The museum's collection contains more than 1,000 items, including many unique ones, such as, the oldest butter ever found in the world (3rd-1st centuries BC). Here you can also see pottery, bronze adornments, human burials of II-I century BC. The museum is open to visitors daily from 09:00 to 18:00. Lunch break is from 13: 00 to 14: 00. Free admission.
