  • Monumental Complex Ganja Fortress Gates

    Built in 2014, the architectural complex "The Gates of Ganja" is stylized ancient fortress, it consists of two towers. In the first tower there is a museum of military history of Ganja, an ethnographic museum, an art gallery, and a restaurant with national cuisine. Passing through the underground tunnel, visitors can come to the second tower, where they can get acquainted with the exposition of the museum of civilization, as well as with the collection of national clothes.

  • Museum of History and Regional Studies

    Ganja State History and Regional Studies Museum named after Nizami graphically tells about the history of the region, its natural environment, the traditional culture and spiritual life of the residents. The collection of the museum, which was founded in 1924, includes over thrity thousand exhibits. The museum is a historic building, owned by the grandchildren of the last ruler of Ganja khanate Javad Khan.

  • Nizami Ganjavi Museum

    Nizami Ganjavi Ilyas ibn Yusuf (1141-1203), the greatest Azerbaijani poet and romantic, was born, lived and died in the city of Ganja. More information about the life and works of Nizami Ganjavi is available in the new museum opened in 2014 on the territory adjacent to the mausoleum of the great Azerbaijani poet. The museum exposition keeps ancient manuscripts, art illustrations to Nizami’s works, sculptures, household items common during his lifetime and other valuable artifacts.
